Smart solutions require professional expertise.

The people at ISBA are professionals because they are able to combine expertise, diligence, responsibility and collegiality in such a way that the elegance of the solution, client advice and on-time delivery are always conceived and implemented simultaneously.

This is our goal at every level – we achieve it by combining different talents. Alongside the analytical skills of staff with a background in mathematics, we draw on the communication and organisational skills of those with a background in media studies, which enables them to assess the market and its needs effectively.

What we all share, alongside curiosity and openness regarding the needs of others, is always the desire to complete our projects with enthusiasm, precision and a touch of the extraordinary. To this end, we speak openly about the good and the bad, about answers and questions, even if at times the words are hard to find at first.

At ISBA

some of us work intensively on the finer details. Some try to unravel the unknown; some weave common threads through every project; and some explain complex matters as clearly as possible. Each of us occupies a specific position on the talent board. And when the time is right, a special situation arises for each of us at that moment, in which talent is transformed into expertise and excellence. This atmosphere fosters inspiration and a sense of community, which we also celebrate.

ISBA in Numbers

The key points are set out below – those who work with us will quickly realise which ones are relevant.
Of course, they’re not that easy to capture in diagrams…

Out of Home

Within the manifold of data science, the OOH team occupies a unique position, as the OOH market combines technology-heavy concepts with complex data structures in a very simple form of presentation – everything can be visualised on a two-dimensional map. The transformation of the complex into the simple is based on modelling reality. The OOH team members are constantly tackling the challenge of achieving this transformation. The data structures can sometimes be a hindrance, but the map always helps. Visualisation and modelling are therefore important tools that everyone in this team has mastered and enjoys using.
TEAM
Print & Markt Media
The challenges in PMM are not so much visual in nature – they lie in the overwhelming wealth of detail in the features and their interconnections, which are always inherent in the projects undertaken by this team. The elegance of the solutions in this team arises from swarms of variables that are controlled and harmonised. In this team, samples are synthesised, data is linked through fusion, and features are adjusted and calibrated in such a way that they can be compared and evaluated against one another at will. This art is mastered only by those who are at one with themselves and can fly, despite the small weights that every piece of information carries with it.

Audio, Online, Intermedia & Dashboards

Precision is also the foundation for successfully completed projects within the AOI team. Here, the focus is on cross-media applications and the use of electronic media.

In the field of crossmedia, the aim is to model phenomena whose empirical basis cannot be directly ascertained – it is therefore essential to be able to derive results from data and model steps at any time. It is often necessary to develop new solutions and strategies, whether to combine the intertwined, high-dimensional usage vectors of one genre with those of other genres, or to synthesise databases. Furthermore, heterogeneous data and requirements are brought together here – this always requires coordination, abstraction and planning.

In the field of electronic media, the studies carried out here are often the only way to quantify users and their structure. It is therefore essential that the work is always traceable and free from errors. Staff constantly monitor potential errors, both before and after processing, and integrate these checks into every stage of the process.

TEAM

Toolboard

The Toolboard is where methods, tools and guidelines are developed. Everything revolves around determining which processes, algorithms and control mechanisms are appropriate and necessary for carrying out projects efficiently and safely. To this end, teams and senior management meet, just as they do in the Mitarbeiter AG.
TEAM

Mitarbeiter AG

The Mitarbeiter AG takes care of all the practical details – from working conditions and organising celebrations to deciding which employee benefits are both sensible and feasible. The teams and senior management meet in this forum to find good solutions for everyone who gives their all at ISBA.

Let’s talk

We may not know each other yet. But that could change. Please get in touch; we look forward to a fruitful discussion about data, structures, markets and projects.
